Tanzania

Tanzania is derived from the first three letters of two states named Tanganyika and Zanzibar, located in East Africa Tanzania hosts the highest mountain in all of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro alongside many lakes, Zanzibar archipelago, waterfalls, national parks, wildlife reserves, conservation area, marine parks etc. Tanzania is a highly biodiverse country, there are many species of animals, reptiles, amphibians etc. Tanzania has the largest population of lion in Africa, almost 3000 lions because of which Serengeti National Park gets the attention from tourists all over the world. 'The Development Vision 2025 strategy' announced by the government welcome private sectors into the country and increase job opportunities and improve the living standards of the people in Tanzania. The main source of income for the economy is agriculture. Tanzania being a mineral rich country exports gold, diamond and tanzanite. Export of gold contributes to a large portion of the country's revenue. Britain largely imports Tanzanian tea and the Chinese have invested in Tanzanian infrastructure on a large scale. Tanzania's GDP in 2021 was $75 billion, in 2017 Tanzania is trade accounted for $5.3 billion indulging in exports with countries like India, Vietnam, South Africa, Switzerland, and China. While imports totaled to $8.17 billion with India, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, China and the biggest trading partner of all, United Arab Emirates.
