Uganda

Uganda known as the pearl of Africa is situated in East Africa and surrounded by snowcapped Rwenzori mountains and lake Victoria, the primary source of river Nile. Uganda boasts of wildlife plentiful with primate species like chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, blue monkey, olive baboon, gorilla, and the golden monkey, which is believed to be the last of its kind. Along with volcanic mountains, Uganda has the second largest inland fresh water lake in the world and almost half of the species of birds can be found here including shoe bill, crowned crane etc. Tourism mostly wildlife safaris through the savannah and many national parks to see the animals living in their natural habitat are a highlight and contribute to a main source of income. Farming is the main source of income for the people in Uganda and Ugandan coffee is mainly the product which is exported to the rest of the world so is metals, oil, fish, maize, tobacco, tea, sugar etc.
